Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Puzzlumina, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Use of the service

Puzzlumina has two product layers:

• Play. Casual gameplay (Sudoku, Nonogram). Provided for personal, non-commercial use, with unlimited play and no daily limit. A Pro subscription unlocks the hardest variants (16×16 Sudoku Hard/Advanced, 20×20 Nonogram Hard/Advanced) and detailed PDF export.
• Puzzlumina Studio. A creator/publisher tool for batch-generating print-ready puzzles. Studio output is licensed separately. Free Studio output is watermarked and is not licensed for commercial use; paid Studio output (an active Studio Creator or Publisher subscription) is delivered under the Studio License Terms. Existing one-time pack purchases remain licensed under the terms in effect at the time of purchase.

You may not use automated tools to generate or solve puzzles at scale, circumvent subscription restrictions, redistribute Studio output as a competing puzzle database, or attempt to access systems beyond your authorised user scope. See our Acceptable Use Policy.

Fair use (Studio)

The Studio Creator plan includes a soft cap of 10,000 generated puzzles per month — set well above any realistic publishing workflow, so for normal use it is effectively unlimited. The Studio Publisher plan has no monthly cap. Both plans enforce a per-batch limit (1,000 puzzles for Creator, 3,000 for Publisher).

These limits exist to prevent automated abuse and to keep generation fast and reliable for everyone. We reserve the right to investigate and take action on accounts whose usage is abusive or in bad faith — for example automated scripting or scraping of the generator, or reselling raw puzzle output as a standalone data set — even where that usage is technically within the stated quotas. Studio license summary

Studio output is delivered with one of two licenses, recorded per batch and embedded in the pack’s manifest:

• Preview (free). Watermarked. Personal preview/evaluation only. No commercial use.
• Royalty-free commercial (paid). Worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free. Anti-bulk-resale and no competing-database restrictions apply. Full text at /studio/license.

Intellectual property

All content, design, and code on Puzzlumina is owned by us unless otherwise noted. You may not copy or redistribute the service without permission.

Limitation of liability

Puzzlumina is provided as-is. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
