5. Description of services
Puzzlumina is an online puzzle platform with two product layers:
- Play. Casual Sudoku and Nonogram gameplay at various sizes and difficulty levels. Unlimited free play, with an optional Pro subscription for the toughest grids and PDF export.
- Puzzlumina Studio. A digital tool for generating downloadable puzzle packs — print-ready PDF, PNG, and SVG files, an optional answer-key PDF, a manifest JSON listing each puzzle’s ID and settings, and license records — bundled together as a single ZIP download. Studio output is sold as a recurring Studio subscription (Creator or Publisher, monthly or annual). A royalty-free commercial license is included with every paid Studio subscription; a free in-browser preview (watermarked, personal evaluation only) is always available.
The service is delivered entirely digitally through the website at puzzlumina.com. No physical goods are shipped.
6. Pricing
All prices are displayed in USD (United States Dollars) and are exclusive of tax. Applicable taxes (e.g. consumption tax, VAT, sales tax) are calculated separately and displayed at checkout based on your location before payment is confirmed.

The 6-month plan costs less than paying monthly — about 3 months’ price for 6 months of access. “Per batch” = max puzzles in a single export job. “Monthly quota” = total puzzles per 30 d (UTC).

7. Additional fees
There are no additional fees beyond the prices listed above. Applicable taxes (e.g. consumption tax, VAT, sales tax) are calculated and shown separately at checkout before payment is confirmed.
8. Payment methods
Payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. Accepted payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other major credit and debit cards supported by Stripe. Your card details are never stored on our servers.
9. Payment timing
For subscriptions, payment is charged immediately upon subscribing. Subsequent charges occur on the same date each billing period (monthly or every 6 months, depending on the plan you choose).
10. Delivery
All services are delivered digitally. Access to paid Play features is granted immediately upon successful payment. Studio subscriptions grant Studio access immediately; output you generate is available for download from Studio › My jobs once generation completes (typically within minutes). Files remain available for download for at least 365 days. No physical goods are shipped. Detailed delivery terms are on the Studio Delivery page.
11. Billing and subscription terms
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or every 6 months, depending on the plan you choose.
- Billing begins immediately upon subscribing to a paid plan.
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
- You can manage your subscription and payment methods through your account settings.
12. Exchanges and returns policy
Subscription cancellations and refunds requested by the customer
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your paid plan features until the end of the current billing period. No further charges will be made after cancellation takes effect. As a digital service delivered immediately upon payment, refunds are generally not provided for partial billing periods.
Legacy one-time packs
Puzzlumina no longer sells one-time Studio packs. Customers who previously purchased a pack keep their entitlement, generated files, and commercial license. Those past purchases were digital and non-refundable once any pack file was downloaded or any pack puzzle was generated against the entitlement, as documented on the Studio Refund Policy page.
Refunds for defective services or billing errors
If you experience a service defect (e.g. extended outage preventing access to paid features, a failed Studio batch generation that we cannot remediate), a billing error, duplicate charge, or other payment issue, please contact us at [email protected]. We will investigate and, where appropriate, issue a full or partial refund at no cost to you. Refund requests are reviewed promptly on a case-by-case basis.
