Puzzlumina Studio License Terms

1. Free preview license

Free Studio output is delivered with a visible watermark. It is intended for personal preview / evaluation only.

You may:

• View the puzzles personally for evaluation purposes.
• Try them at home, in your classroom, or with a small private group.

You must not:

• Publish, sell, distribute, or otherwise commercialize these puzzles.
• Remove, obscure, or modify the watermark.
• Claim authorship or remove the Puzzlumina attribution.

2. Paid royalty-free commercial license

Subject to these terms, Puzzlumina grants you a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the puzzles in your purchased pack as part of derivative works.

You may:

• Publish the puzzles in printed and digital books, including KDP, IngramSpark, Apple Books, and other self-publishing platforms.
• Include the puzzles in newsletters, magazines, blog posts, classroom handouts, worksheets, and similar publications.
• Distribute them as digital downloads (PDF, image, web) when bundled inside a derivative work that adds layout, branding, or curated context around them.
• Sell physical or digital products that contain the puzzles as part of their content.

You must not:

• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the unmodified pack as a stock-puzzle product, puzzle-generator database, dataset, or competing puzzle-generation service.
• Re-expose the puzzles or solutions through any public API or SaaS whose primary purpose is generating or serving puzzles.
• Remove the Puzzlumina attribution from the manifest, or claim authorship of the underlying puzzle generation.
• Claim trademark ownership over “Puzzlumina”, “Puzzlumina Studio”, or confusingly similar marks.

3. Important

• Non-exclusive. Puzzlumina may generate similar or identical puzzles for other customers. We do not grant exclusivity over any specific puzzle, layout, or solution unless explicitly purchased under a separate custom or exclusive tier (not currently offered).
• Per-pack scope. The license applies only to the files and puzzles in the specific batch identified by batch_job_id and license_record_id in your pack’s manifest.json. It does not cover other Puzzlumina output you obtain elsewhere.
• No third-party guarantee. Puzzlumina makes no representation that any third-party platform (including KDP, IngramSpark, Apple Books, etc.) will accept your final publication. You are responsible for reviewing the puzzles and your final files for fitness for purpose before publishing.
• Persistence after subscription end. License records are issued at generation time and persist even if your Studio subscription later ends — you keep the rights for puzzles generated under an active commercial entitlement.
